<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance fuel utilization factor of a fuel cell power generation system. <P>SOLUTION: Fuel gas containing hydrogen is produced by reacting hydrocarbon base fuel with steam in a reforming reactor 2, the fuel gas is circulated, a fuel electrode 31 of a first fuel cell 3 using an oxide ion conductor 30 as an electrolyte and a fuel electrode 41 of a second fuel cell 4 using a proton conductor 40 as the electrolyte are arranged so as to contact with the fuel gas, an air electrode 32 of the first fuel cell 3 and an air electrode 42 of the second fuel cell 4 are arranged so as to contact with oxidizing agent gas flowing through the outside of the reforming reactor 2. Hydrogen produced with the reforming rector 2 by power generation with the first fuel cell 3 is consumed and steam is supplied to the inside of the reforming reactor 2, hydrogen produced with the reforming reactor 2 by power generation with the second fuel cell 4 is consumed and steam is exhausted to the outside of the reforming reactor 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
