PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for detecting an uneven pattern, which is improved to stably acquire an image with a high quality.

SOLUTION: A device for detecting an uneven pattern 5 has an optical plate 6. A finger 8 having a finger print to be an uneven pattern is abutted on one surface 7 of the plate 6. A light source 10 and an imaging device 11 are disposed on the other surface 9 of the plate 6. A finger abutting portion 12 on which the finger 8 is abutted among the one surface 7 of the plate 6 is higher than a portion 13 on which the finger 8 is not abutted so that the portion 12 is formed as a projected portion.
