<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the corrosion problem of a water purifying apparatus owing to the hydrogen chloride generated from hydrochloric acid without necessitating an expensive flowmeter for measuring the flow rate of a regenerating agent and a weighing tank whose installation space is large when the water purifying apparatus is regenerated. <P>SOLUTION: An ion exchange resin layer 49 is formed in the water purifying apparatus 34 for removing impurities in original water. A regenerating agent transferring line 28 is arranged for transferring from a storage tank 27 the regenerating agent for activating an ion exchange resin in the layer 49. The flowmeter 30 is arranged for measuring the flow rate of the regenerating agent to be transferred through the line 28. The secondary side of the flowmeter 30 is connected to the part to be sucked of an ejector 32 on an ejector driving water line 31 for supplying ejector driving water to the apparatus 34. A three-way valve 29 is arranged for connecting the primary side of the ejector 32 or the line 28 changeably to the primary side of the flowmeter 30 so that the flowmeter can be washed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
