<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card insertion confirmation indicating system which can accurately present an insertion state of a card, a card type on-vehicle unit used for this system, and a card thereof. <P>SOLUTION: In this system, when a card 150 is inserted to a card holder 110 completely, the card 150 is held, so that the exposed-side edge part 161 of the card 150 is set on the position a little inside from the front surface 101 of a case of an on-vehicle unit. A light-emitting element 151 built in the card 150 emits light by making a terminal 152 of the card 150 contact with a terminal 113 for power supply source of the light-emitting element of the on-vehicle unit 100. Light emitted by the light-emitting element 151 is guided by a light-guide component 135, and makes a light-emitting part 153c arranged on almost whole surface of the exposed-side edge part 161. When the card 150 slips off even a little from the completely inserted state, the terminal 152 and the terminal 113 for power supply source become non-contacted state; as the result the light-emitting element 151 does not emit light and the light-emitting part 153c does not become bright. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
