PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a searching device capable of searching a location more effectively with better operability. SOLUTION: The searching device comprises a tip where an imaging unit for photographing a search location and an emission member for emitting light to the search location are accommodated, a first elastic member attached to the tip, a body rod attached to the first elastic member, a second elastic member attached to the body rod, a control unit attached to the second elastic member, an insert rod provided with a directing means for directing the tip towards a desired direction by operation of the control unit, and a display unit for displaying video images photographed by the imaging unit.
