PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cope with the multistage gear shift while minimizing the increase of the number of shafts and the number of gears. SOLUTION: At least input gears G3, G4 respectively mounted on first and second input shafts X1, X2 are fixed to second input shafts X1, X2, output gears G7, G9 and G8, G10 constantly engaged with the input gears G3, G4 are rotatably mounted on first and second output shafts X3, X4, and connectable with the shaft by means of connecting means S1-S4. One of the connecting means S3, S4 of the output gears G8, G10 constantly engaged with at least one input gear G4 on the first input shaft X1 in engagement of a first clutch C1 is selectively connectable with the first output shaft X3 or the second output shaft X4, and one of the connecting means S1, S2 of the output gears G7, G9 constantly engaged with at least one input gear G3 on the second input shaft X2 in engagement of a second clutch C2 is selectively connectable with the first output shaft X3 or the second output shaft X4.
