PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exactly determine a generation factor in a sound source, even when a generation space of the determination objective sound source of which the generation factor is not clear is different by existence of a casing, a peripheral structure or the like. SOLUTION: This sound source determination device has a sound collecting part for collecting a sound from the sound source to be taken in as an acoustic signal, a sound getting-out part for getting out an acoustic signal of a determination objective sound portion from the taken-in acoustic signal, and a distance measure computing part for calculating a distance measure with respect to a reference space comprising a data of the acoustic signal where a sound from a sound source of a preliminarily clear generation factor is collected and taken in from a generation space different from the sound source of the unclear generation factor, as to the got acoustic sound. The device is provided with a judging part wherein the calculated distance measure is compared with a threshold value for sound source determination set based on distance measures as to a plurality of kinds of sounds from the sound source of the preliminarily clear generation factor, so as to judge the generation factor of the sound, and a threshold value changing part 60 for changing the threshold value used in the judging part while conformed with the generation space of the determination objective sound source.
