PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spring adjusting structure of a ceiling storage type ladder capable of adjusting tensile force of a spring by easily tensioning the spring, and adjusting the length of the spring without using an exclusive tool. SOLUTION: This spring adjusting structure of the ceiling storage type ladder adjusts the tensile force of the spring by changing a fitting position of the fixing end by fitting the fixing end being one end part of the spring for suspending the ceiling storage type ladder, to a fitting part of a fixing member installed in a storage frame arranged around an opening part of a ceiling surface. An engaging part for engaging a bar body is arranged in the fixing member or the spring. A position of the fitting part is finally fixed to a spring holding position by extending the spring by moving the bar body in a state of engaging the bar body with the engaging part.
