<p>The invention relates to an aortic prosthesis comprising a quick-acting device for connection to the extracorporeal circulation. Said aortic prosthesis consists of a prosthetic tube (1) fitted with a laterally connected smaller perfusion tube (2) and provided, on the end thereof, with a quick-action connector (4) for connecting to the arterial tubing of an extracorporeal circulation system. More generally, the invention relates to the field of arterial surgery, and more specifically, to operations for replacing part of the aorta, or the entire aorta, by a prosthesis.</p> |
