<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a stable recording characteristic by preventing a deviation in a pulse position of laser driving current in response to an instruction of a laser modulation timing pulse. <P>SOLUTION: A laser power control circuit 21 controls a laser driving current instruction signal on the basis of a laser power instruction signal. A recording pulse generation circuit 23 outputs a laser modulation timing pulse on the basis of record data and laser modulation timing setting data. Then, a laser modulation timing pulse and an error of a pulse position of laser driving current in a laser driving circuit 22 are stored in a correction data storage device 28. A system controller 27 corrects the pulse position of the laser driving current into desired timing by sending laser modulation timing setting data modified according to the error to the recording pulse generation circuit 23. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
