<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air bag device with inexpensive manufacturing and facility costs, easy in disassembling operation. <P>SOLUTION: This air bag device 1 comprises an air bag module 10 installed in front of a front passenger seat and mounting an air bag 11 inflated and deployed in collision of a vehicle; air bag holding members 20 mounted to both of right and left parts, extending to a tip side, and holding the air bag module 10; an inner panel 30 opposed to a tip end of the air bag holding member 20; and a hinge plate 50 nipped between the air bag holding member 20 and the inner panel 30. The inner panel 30 is adapted to form a first groove part 31 and a second groove part 32, and enlarge the air bag 11 inflated and deployed via an enlarged opening opened by a groove part broken by inflation and deployment of the air bag 11.
