<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parking management system that can ensure a parking area for legal parking even outside a parking space prepared on a store, road or the like and calculate a parking fee depending on the time during which a vehicle resides in the parking area. <P>SOLUTION: The parking management system comprises a parking area determination part 22 for determining that a vehicle resides in a parking area for parking if using position information specified by a position specification part 13 to specify that the parking area out of parking areas stored in advance matches the position information, and a fee calculation part 32 for calculating a parking fee depending on the parking time during which the vehicle resides in the parking area when the parking area determination part 22 determines that the vehicle resides in the parking area. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
