<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device in which a control device 60 is connected so as to carry out detailed setting up in order to make power-saving effective while simultaneous replacement of lamps 30 is not premised, and in which a user can exchange a lamp 30 independently by a luminaire when the lamp 30 of each illumination fixture ends the life. <P>SOLUTION: Counting of accumulated lighting time of the lamp 30 is carried out by an electronic ballast 1 of the respective luminaire, other controls are carried out by control equipment 60, a light control signal input from the control equipment 60 and the accumulated lighting time data of the lamps 30 are determined by the control circuit 60 of a microcomputer or the like with the electronic ballast 1 built in, and the lamps 30 are controlled to have appropriate brightness. As for reset of the accumulated lamp-lighting time when the lamps 30 end their lives, in the case that a reset switch 20 mounted on the luminaire is maintained at an ON-state for several seconds, determination is made that a voltage inputted into the electronic ballast 1 by the reset switch 20 wherein one part is connected to the light control signal wire 50 and the other part to the electronic ballast 1 is the reset signal by the reset switch 20 wherein one part is connected to the light control signal wire 50 and the other part to the electronic ballast 1, and a memory 18 is initialized.
