OPTICAL DIFFERENTIAL SIGNAL TRANSMISSION SYSTEM AND METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical differential signal transmission system for enhancing receiving performance with respect to a deterioration of a transmission signal due to an SN ratio, waveform distortion of a signal and the like.

SOLUTION: The optical differential signal transmission system has a Mach-Zehnder modulator 30 so constituted that input light beams having wavelengths different from each other are respectively inputted to two input ports 1, a fiber transmission line 31 transmitting two light output signals obtained from one light output port 5 of the Mach-Zehnder modulator 30 and reversed and multiplexed respectively, and an optical filter 32 obtaining a differential signal by inputting the light output signals transmitted by the fiber transmission line 31 and separating the light output signals in every wavelengths.
