PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas leakage detector capable of surely detecting and confirming leakage of a gas from a part such as a flange or the like where leakage is expected. SOLUTION: The leakage of the gas can be visually confirmed easily by a material 4 whose condition changes by its reaction with a leakage gas, a sensor 7 which reacts with the leakage gas and generates an electric signal, or the like.
