PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight high-pressure gas container and its valve mounting structure, having high pressure resistance and provided with an in-tank valve to be used as a hydrogen gas container of a fuel cell powered car. SOLUTION: In this high-pressure gas container 1 wherein a metallic liner 10 composed of a barrel part 11, a shoulder part 12 and a valve mounting part 13, is reinforced by a fiber reinforcement resin layer 20, a basic part of the valve mounting part 13 is used as a gas sealing face 16 engaged with a leg part 31 of a valve, and its front end part is used as a screw engagement part with the leg part 31 of the valve. In this invention, the gas sealing face 16 of the high-pressure gas container desirably includes the shoulder part 12 of the metallic liner. Further a bore diameter of the valve mounting part 13 at a gas sealing face side is smaller than that at a screw engagement part side. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
