PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diaphragm improved in pressure resistance capacity, and the pneumatic spring using the same. SOLUTION: This diaphragm 1 for the pneumatic spring has the approximately cylindrical shape as a whole, the diameter of a mounting end part 2 to a chamber is larger than that of a mounting end part 3 to a piston, and a plurality of reinforcement cords are buried over the whole length of one or more reinforcement layers 7, 8 inclined with respect to the circumferential direction. A large part 4 having inner and outer diameters larger than those of the mounting end part to the chamber is formed on a part adjacent to the chamber mounting end part 2, and one or more circumferential reinforcement layers 9 formed by extending the plurality of reinforcement cords in the circumferential direction, are buried in the large part 4.
