PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent peak tension from being applied to links adjacent to both ends of the pin for connecting the link of a chain belt at the moment when the pin is seated on a pulley and protect the links adjacent to the both ends of the pin from an over load to enhance durability of the entire chain belt. SOLUTION: The pin is composed of a pair of pin half bodies coming in rolling contact with each other on central parts except the both ends in an axial direction. The pin has flexibility on both ends in a diameter reducing direction with respect to link tension applied to the both ends, obtained due to the fact that the pin half bodies are not in contact with each other on both ends.
