PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent accumulation of a developer on a sheet conveyance guide caused by transfer reverse printing at side edge parts of a sheet material. SOLUTION: The sheet conveyance guide X guides the conveyance of the sheet material S by contacting with it in a front stage and/or a rear stage of a transferring process, when the sheet material S is conveyed from a transferring process for transferring an image by the developer to the sheet materials to a fixing process for fixing the transferred image to the sheet material. A recessed part (g) is formed at a position corresponding to the side edge parts (ends in the width direction substantially orthogonal to the conveying direction) of the sheet material on the guiding side of the sheet material S.
