PURPOSE: An electromagnetic relay is provided to allow for easy assembly and smooth operation of an indicator by permitting the indicator to have a pivot rotatively supported in a bearing portion of a base plate. CONSTITUTION: A coil block and a contact switch are arranged on a base plate(1), and the base plate with the coil block and the contact switch is covered with a case(4). The coil block is excited and demagnetized so as to rotate a movable iron piece, and a movable contact piece operates by a card, to thereby open/shut a contact. A bearing portion is formed in the base plate, and an indicator operating by the rotation of the movable iron piece is arranged. The indicator has a pivot which is rotatively supported in the bearing portion of the base plate.
