PURPOSE: A merry-go-round is provided to maximize safety of the playing appliance mainly used by children while increasing the interesting of the playing appliance. CONSTITUTION: The merry-go-round comprises: a circular rotatable chair unit(20) rotatable about a fixed shaft(30) on a fixed base; an entrance(25) defined in the rotatable chair unit for allowing the user to enter or exit from the chair; and a handle(10) fixedly coupled to an upper end of the fixed shaft. Additionally, a roof unit is fixedly coupled to the upper end of the fixing shaft or the handle. The chair unit is rotated by making use of reaction against a force applied to the handle.
