<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolyte and a battery capable of sufficiently improving a cycle characteristic. <P>SOLUTION: An electrode rolled body 20 composed by stacking and rolling a positive electrode 21 and a negative electrode 22 by interlaying a separator is installed in a battery can. This electrolyte is impregnated into the separator. The electrolyte contains: 5-40% by mass of a high-dielectric-constant solvent formed of at least one of ethylene carbonate and propylene carbonate; 58-93% by mass of dimethyl carbonate; and 0-5% by mass of diphenyl carbonate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
