<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a castable refractory which exhibits excellent resistance to explosive fracture in drying because the castable refractory contains a low melting point and/or hydrolyzable organic fiber and which needs addition of only a small amount of water and is easy to handle in construction. <P>SOLUTION: The castable refractory contains 0.01 to 0.5 mass % aliphatic polyester fiber which is a polylactic acid fiber. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
