<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable to more surely insert an endoscope deep into the body cavity with less pains inflicted on a subject. <P>SOLUTION: An insertion attachment 1 for the endoscope is mainly constituted of a balloon 2 for vermiculation, an intestinal string 3 and a balloon 4 for fixation. The balloon 2 for vermiculation comprises a freely stretchable elastic body. The intestinal string 3 is slender and made flexible. The balloon 4 for fixation is made freely stretchable. The balloon 2 for vermiculation and the balloon 4 for fixation are mounted respectively at one end and the other end of the intestinal string 3. The balloon 4 for fixation comprises a body 5 of the balloon, a housing part 6 and a winding shaft part 7. The body 5 of the balloon, made of the elastic body, is made cylindrical with a hollow inside. The housing part 6 houses the intestinal string 3 while the body 5 of the balloon is disposed on the outer periphery thereof.
