PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable control adapted to change in a kind of an engine without providing a dedicated unit and without introducing a tool for changing a program and data. SOLUTION: A main control unit 1 performs control during an operation while monitoring any one of a plurality of kinds of engines 3a and 3b through a program control. An ignition control parameter 6, an injection control parameter 7, and an ISC control parameter 8 are rewritable as control information for adapting control to the plurality of kinds of the engines 3a and 3b. In subsidiary control units 2a and 2b, the control information which is a base of rewriting is provided as data 9 for rewriting. The main control unit 1 is made common to the plurality of kinds of the engine 3a and 3b, thereby dispensing with introducing of the tool for rewriting of the control information.
