PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of causing a situation which results in no energy saving without using an energy-saving function due to discomfort given to a family who feels too short if the time set to an off-timer switched off is uniformly set. SOLUTION: This energy saving control device is provided with a human sensor, a control means for outputting a control signal of an electric apparatus based on the output from the human sensor, and a timer counter controlled by the control means and changeable in the set value for timer counting. In the case of determining the nonpresence of a person based on the output signal of the human sensor, the timer counter is started, and when the timer value reaches a preset prescribed value, the electric apparatus is changed into a stop state or an energy saving set state based on the control signal.
