PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely and stably perform positioning of a color separation prism at assembling in a structure for attaching the color separation prism to a holding member. SOLUTION: A positioning means is arranged on the inclined surface of the exit part of the color separation prism, and the positioning means is arranged so as to be positioned at the same centroid of the color separation prism, or above the centroid.
