PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup actuator, an optical recording and/or reproducing device that adopts the optical pickup actuator, and a method. SOLUTION: This optical pickup actuator comprises a blade where an objective lens is mounted on one side, a plurality of suspensions, one end of which is connected to the blade and the other end of which is fixed to a holder provided at one side on a base to support the blade in a freely movable way, first and second coil members provided at the base while separated from each other, and a magnet member provided on a blade to be located between the first and second coil members.
