PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical information reproducing device which reproduces information recorded on a recording medium from the recording medium by utilizing holography and can perform quick processing by reducing a calculation amount more in detecting a reproduced image obtained by emitting reference light for reproduction to the recording medium, and to provide a recording program in which a program for realizing the optical information reproducing device is stored. SOLUTION: When an information recording layer is irradiated with the reference light for reproduction and reproduction light generated by irradiation with the reference light for reproduction is collected to be detected, all sync codes for positioning the reproduced image included in the reproduction light are set so as to have the same pixel value, either component within a search range composed of XY planes is fixed to calculate a correlation value in the other direction, a correlation value in the fixed direction is then acquired, and the maximum correlation value among all correlation values obtained within the search range is defined as a position where matching is obtained.
