PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a management method of a magnetic recording medium capable of securing the management of such as manufacturing and quality control of pan cake without a large amount of costs. SOLUTION: The management of the pan cake 10 is carried out based on quality information by attaching a wireless data carrier 16 to the hub 12 of the pan cake 10, writing the quality information of the pan cake 10 to the wireless data carrier 16, and reading the written quality information in a predetermined process.
