PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To store data which are provided with no information showing a sharer in order to make the data shareable, and to improve the using efficiency of the storage area. SOLUTION: This storage managing system 100 provides a contents storage management service to a contract user. This storage managing system 100 is characterized by reducing the total capacity of a plurality of contents data to be stored as much as possible, or preventing any inconvenience due to the centralization of user requests for the contents data as much as possible in order to provide a contents storage management service. In detail, the contents data judged to be identical are shared by a plurality of contract users, or when there are too many contract users who share the same contents data, the contents data are distributed to and stored in a plurality of storage devices 104 to 107.
