PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide guide information suitable for guiding a following vehicle. SOLUTION: This information providing device is provided with transmitting equipment 100 equipped with a vehicle status detection means 110 which detects the status change of a guiding vehicle and a guide information transmitting means 120 which acquires guide information including image information where at least the front part of the vehicle is photographed by using the status change of the guiding vehicle detected by the vehicle status detection means 110 as a trigger and transmits the guide information to a following vehicle and a presenting device 200 carried in the following vehicle, which acquires the transmitted guide information, and presents it to a user.
