Driving - arrangements. - In toothed gearing, for example for driving a dynamo shaft g from a magneto shaft h, an intermediate pinion b is mounted with universal freedom upon its supporting pin d so as to adapt itself to inaccuracies in the gearing. Preferably a bush f of nonmetallic material such as bakelized cotton is mounted on the pin d so as to fit but turn thereon and the pinion b fits loosely upon the bush. The pin d is mounted on a plate e which can be adjusted in two directions at right-angles to secure initial adjustment of the gearing. Specifications 183,844 and 272,952, [both in Class 80 (i), Gearing, Belt &c.], are referred to. According to the Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) resistex, novotext, or the material known by the Trade Mark " Turbax " may he employed for the bush f. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
