PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cationic electrodeposition coating composition producing less sedimentation of a pigment, and a use of the composition. SOLUTION: The cationic electrodeposition coating composition contains (a) a cationic epoxy resin, (b) a curing agent, (c) a pigment, (d) a curing catalyst, and (e) a cationic acrylic resin. The pigment (c) uses carbon black, an organic pigment, or a combination thereof. The curing catalyst (d) uses a tin catalyst solid at room temperature.
