PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin molded article which can manifest a depth feeling by a scaly resin particle. SOLUTION: The resin molded article is formed by compounding 100 pts.wt. of a transparent thermosetting resin such as an unsaturated polyester with 5-100 pts.wt. of the scaly resin particle having a maximum size of at least 5 mm, a thickness of 0.05-1.0 mm and an optical density of at most 2 and hardening the resultant compound, and has a thickness of at least about 10 times that of the scaly resin particle. The scaly resin particle is formed by incorporating a filler such as glass frit, a colorant and the like into a transparent resin liquid, forming the resultant compound into a thin plate and crushing the thin plate.
