The block cylinder has a locking guide nut in a cylinder drilling (21) of a guided piston rod, and has drillings (32,35) and a fixing hole for screws (33,34) that fasten the block cylinder to e.g. a change plate of a machine tool. One or more of the drillings are arranged in the locking guide nut near the guided piston rod or in a casing (20).
