The cover plate (1) for a child lock in a car has arms (6, 6') on its inner side which fit through an aperture in the door (9). These have grooves which snap over ribs (8) inside the door panel. The cover can be removed using tongs (11) inserted through slots to squeeze the arms so they disengage from the ribs. An independent claim is included for the tongs.
