PURPOSE: Provided are a printed matter with a three-dimensional wood pattern and a printing method thereof to enable minute representation of wood-like texture having a more realistic appearance by additionally expressing delicate portions of a tree, including tracheal tissues. CONSTITUTION: The printing method comprises: performing one-color printing(9a) on paper(3) with light ink so that a tracheal tissue portion(10a) is printed in a non-ink manner; performing two-color printing(9b) with dark ink so that a tracheal tissue portion(10b) is still printed at an equal position to the tracheal tissue portion(10a) in a non-ink manner; performing three-color printing(9c) with darker ink so that a tracheal tissue portion(10c) is still printed at an equal position to the tracheal tissue portion(10b) in a non-ink manner, thereby creating a three-dimensional display effect with patterns of the tracheas(10a,10b,10c) as well as the wood-like texture.
