CHAIN TENSION REGULATING DEVICE OF BUCKET ELEVATOR WITH TENSION RE-REGULATING OPERATION PERFORMED AUTOMATICALLY

PURPOSE: A chain tension regulating device of a bucket elevator is provided to prevent breakage of the equipment by automatically performing a tension re-regulating operation in changing tension of a chain during transferring vertically articles and to secure a smooth transfer operation by repressing a contact with a sprocket by properly distributing and dropping the articles. CONSTITUTION: Both ends of a seal plate(52) are inserted into a rotary shaft(8) penetrating a housing(14) and contacted and disposed to seal a shaft-moving hole(8') on an outer wall of the housing. Upper and lower ends of a guide plate(55) are bent and fixed on to the outer wall surface of the housing apart from the seal plate and the guide plate is cut at the constant width from the upper end to the lower end to support a bearing block(9) fixing the rotary shaft to move up and down. A sealing spring(54) is disposed to a connection bar(53) for linking and supporting the seal plate and the bearing block. A support(90) is installed to penetrate the housing and arranged higher than the rotary shaft. The ends of a pair of tension regulating bars(80) are fixed on the upside of the bearing block and the other ends are fastened on the support. A weight box(70) is fixed on the upside of the support to have a receiving space of a weight(72). A distributing duct housing the weight box is fixed on the support and the upside of the distributing duct inclines downward to a chain.
