PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a skin care preparation for external use for preventing aging excellent in actions effectively preventing or improving damage and aging of the skin which occurs by external stress such as ultraviolet light, without having adverse influence on the skin such as skin irritation and contact sensitization.

SOLUTION: This skin care preparation for external use comprises an extract obtained by extracting mycelium of Sparassis crispa or dried material of its mycelium with a hydrophilic solvent such as water or ethanol or a culture filtrate obtained by removing a solid material from a culture solution obtained by culturing the mycelium of Sparassis crispa.
