<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a ball-point pen tip made of aluminum bronze having excellent workability such as machinability and ductility, which has smooth writing feeling and in which a ball seat is hardly abraded even if writing pressure is high. <P>SOLUTION: The ball-point pen tip (1) is provided with a tip body (1a) and a ball (7) arranged to the tip body. The ball-point pen tip (1) is so composed that the ball is abutted on the ball seat (5) formed to the tip body, a part of the ball is projected from the front end (3) of the tip of the tip body, and it is provided freely rotatably. The tip body is formed of the aluminum bronze including 3.0-8.0 mass % of aluminum, ≥90 mass% of copper, 0.5-3.0 mass % of silicon, and 0.05-0.5 mass% of tellurium as a free-cutting component.
