DEAD TIME COMPENSATION CIRCUIT AND MOTOR DRIVE EQUIPPED WITH THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dead time compensation circuit for executing simple compensation for an increase/decrease in output voltage caused by dead time.

SOLUTION: This compensation circuit comprises a command voltage preparing means 1 for computing a command voltage from a command current; an energy polarity determining means 2 for determining the energy polarity from command current and command voltage; and a voltage compensation means 3 for compensating the amplitude of command voltage from the determined result by the energy polarity determining means 2 and the command voltage, thus compensating in a simple manner for the increase/decrease in the output voltage caused by the dead time.
