<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an asymmetric porous polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) film for clothing having various characteristics such as a decrease in a change with the elapse of time, water-resistant permeability, gas permeability, seal characteristics, electric characteristics and the like of a conventional porous PTFE molded product and enhanced in the adhesive strength with cloth, durability and steam permeability. <P>SOLUTION: This asymmetric porous PTFE film is composed of a highly dense skin layer and an open-cell porous layer and characterized in that (1) the contact angle of water with respect to the surface of a skin layer is 120-140°and (2) the diffusion reflectivity of light of the skin layer is 91-94%. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
