PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple and inexpensive method suitably used as a gene expression suppressing method by RNAi in a vertebrata such as mouse or rat.

SOLUTION: The method for suppressing expression of a target gene comprises introducing RNA interference inducer to the target gene into the target gene. In the method, the RNA interference inducer is expressed in internal organs or tissues other than the liver.
