PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of toner that can efficiently, uniformly contain a resin electrification control agent in a toner resin, efficiently utilizes the resin electrification control agent when manufacturing the toner, and can adjust the concentration of the contained resin electrification control agent. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of toner, in which a mixture uses at least one kind of a non-aqueous resin having an acid dissociation group, a coloring matter, and the resin electrification control agent as an essential ingredient; the mixture is emulsified into a solution for generating water-insoluble resin particles containing the coloring matter and the resin electrification control agent; the non-aqueous resin particles are separated for drying; is characterised in that the gram equivalent of the acid dissociation group per unit weight in the resin electrification control agent is larger than that per unit weight in the non-aqueous resin.
