PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To constitute a coaxial cable which transmits high frequency signals with a low loss even in-between high frequency circuits of which characteristic impedances are different. SOLUTION: Dielectric layers 3a, 3b, composed of two dielectrics of which dielectric constants are mutually different are formed on the circumferential face of an inner conductor 2, and an outer conductor 4 is formed on the exterior face of the dielectric layers 3a, 3b and the coaxial cable 1 is constituted. Here, the coaxial cable 1 has a structure wherein the dielectric layer 3a is formed from a joint surface 50 to one end part, and the dielectric layer 3b is formed from the joint surface 50 to the other end part. Then, the joint surface 50 is formed in a nearly truncated cone side view profile having a non-vertical prescribed angle against the axial direction. By this, two different parts of different characteristic impedances are formed in the coaxial cable 1, and impedance matching between these two parts is performed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
