PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal for a connector capable of firmly caulking a water-proofing rubber stopper . SOLUTION: The terminal 10 for a connector comprises an insulation barrel 14 for caulking the water proofing rubber stopper 20. The insulation barrel 14 has a base part 15, and a pair of waterproofing pieces 16 extending from the base part 15 to opposite directions from each other. Each waterproofing piece 16 has a tip part 17 for a caulking tool abuts in caulking, and a connecting part 18 for connecting the base part 15 and the tip part 17. The tip part 17 is formed wide, allowing stable abutment to the caulking tool in caulking. The connection part 18 is formed narrow with a low stiffness, permitting it to be easily bent to reliably caulk the waterproofing rubber stopper 20, and to reduce the rising of the waterproofing caulking piece 16 after caulking.
