PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable lengthening equivalently a gap between digital information of which the sync-length are different, and to enable securing sufficiently a signal processing space between digital information of which the sync-length required when correction processing is performed are different. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a helical reproducing head 55 reading digital information of first and second sync-length from a magnetic tape based on a signal of the prescribed clock frequency, a signal processing means 5 signal-processing digital information read successively by this helical reproducing head 55, a clock replacing unit 90 converting a clock frequency of the digital information signal-processed by this signal processing means 5 to a frequency of (n) times, and a correction processing means 8 error correction-processing successively digital information of the first and the second sync-length of the clock frequency converted to (n) times by this clock replacing unit 90.
