PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a neutron radiation measuring dosimeter which is capable of performing measurement in a short time by a physical technique without using chemicals, have a wide measurement range on an integrated dose, are safe, and capable of being repeatedly reused, and a neutron dose measuring method. SOLUTION: The neutron radiation measuring dosimeter and a neutron dose measuring method use a mixture of alumina powder and metal gadolinium powder or a gadolinium compound powder as a neutron dose measuring element and are capable of measuring an integrated dose of neutron exposure at a work place etc. using radiation in an extremely short time by the physical technique without using chemicals. The measuring range on the integrated dose is wide, and the neutron radiation measuring dosimeter can be repeatedly reused. Since gadolinium is not poisonous to human bodies, safety is assured. By coating part of the neutron dose measuring element with a thermal neutron radiation shielding coating 3, it is possible to detect and measure only an integrated dose of fast-neutron exposure at the part.
