PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-resolution and highly accurate torque sensor at low costs. SOLUTION: The torque sensor is constituted in such a way that an output signal of a first detector 21 corresponding to a change in the rotational angle of a first shaft may be outputted as a first alternation signal of which the phase changes according to changes in its rotational angle via a resistor 26a and a capacitor 26b functioning as a low pass filter and a high pass filter and that an output signal of a second detector 22 corresponding to a change in the rotational angle of a second shaft capable of elastic rotation relative to the first shaft may be outputted as a second alternation signal of which the phase changes according to changes in its rotational angle via a resistor 27a and a capacitor 27b functioning as a low pass filter and a high pass filter. In the torque sensor, values corresponding to torque transmitted by the first and second shafts are determined on the basis of a signal corresponding to a phase difference of which the waveform changes according to changes in the phase difference between the first alternation signal and the second alternation signal.
